Las Cruces Anime Day (LCAD) requests and expects all children twelve (12) years old and under who wish to participate in any LCAD event to be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a valid badge. Due to safety concerns, in the event that an unaccompanied child is present at the convention, NMSU Campus police will be contacted to ensure the safety and well-being of said child.
LCAD strives to provide varied content to all its attendees and will provide content that is suitable for all ages. However, the majority of its programming may not be suitable for young children.
Please be aware that all LCAD Video Programming will have an age rating associated with it and that entry into the Video Rooms will be based on this rating. Some panels may involve concepts and topics that may not be suitable for a young child or that a young child may not be able to comprehend. Some workshops may require a level of dexterity that a very young child may not possess. Late-night activities such as the Dance will be age-restricted as well. Please keep this in mind when making plans to attend LCAD.
Although we understand that Parents may not necessarily be interested in the hobbies of their children, LCAD is not a place where children can be dropped off and expect to be fully supervised. LCAD is not a daycare. All attendees are responsible for their own individual behavior. If your child is found not to be in compliance with our Attendee Guidelines, he or she may be asked to leave and/or you may be contacted by NMSU Campus Police.
