Come and play some great games with other LCAD attendees!  The LCAD2010 Gaming Room will feature the following games:

  • BlazBlue - Calamity Trigger
  • Tekken 6
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl
  • Marvel vs. Capcom 2
  • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
  • DJ Hero
  • Rock Band 2
  • several DDR games
  • Halo 3
  • Halo ODST
  • Left 4 Dead 2 
  • The House of the Dead 2 and 3 Return
  • Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2
  • and several others

Plus the LCAD2010 Gaming Room will feature several retro games on retro consoles, courtesy of Super Mega Turbo, one of our sponsors.

There will be three main tournaments at LCAD: Street Fighter IV, BlazBlue and Tekken 6. The rules for these tourneys are as follows:

Entry Fee:  None (a valid LCAD2010 badge is required for all tourneys)
Tournament structure:  32-player Bracket, 2/3 rounds, Single Elimination, 99 secs., No handicap.
Console:  PlayStation 3
Rules:  Players have 15 secs. to select their fighter. Players may not use game-breaking glitches. Stage select limit is 15, after that, stage will be random.

If you're interested in signing up for any of the tournaments, please approach the Gaming Room staff the day of the con.

"Hello Attendees! This is your Gaming Staff from the Las Cruces Anime Day. We would like to remind the attendees entering tournaments -- we highly recommend bringing your own personal controller for any tournament we are hosting.  Our controllers may not be suitable for your playing needs.

Please remember that our controllers are being used at all times by other attendees. We aren't responsible if you lose a match because the controller is not working properly.

We would also like to remind all of our attendees, to please be courteous and pass the controller to others when your time is up.

Many other attendees are waiting for their chance to get into some gaming action! So, please be polite and courteous to those waiting in line."
